A leading and well established pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Jeddah, KSA.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly reviewed accounts and annual audited financial statements (all in compliance with IFRS)
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in ongoing and contemplated M&A transactions by coordinating with other departments for closure of relevant workstreams and providing full transaction support
  • Producing financial reports & feasibility analysis for presentation in Board Meetings as well as the Business Plan
  • Leveraging strong excel financial modelling skills for drafting business plans & budgets, providing financial and qualitative analysis on corporate restructuring assignments.
  • Reviewing, recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Finance Department
  • Monitoring IFRS compliance for the group and its subsidiaries, also working on transaction due diligence assignments as and when required and preparing statutory financial reports in accordance with relevant regulations.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

  • Candidates based in KSA only
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
  • Professional qualification is a must i.e., Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of post-qualification working experience in the Big 4, leading investment banks (having completed assignments with large corporates and multinationals) or a large manufacturing company
  • Possessing a strong skillset in preparation, understanding and interpretation of financial statements
  • Demonstrated experience of dealing with regulatory authorities such as the CMA, ZATCA, SAMA, etc. will be desirable
  • Knowledgeable of systems such as Power BI, Business Intelligence, ERP, SAP
  • Proven hands-on excel financial modelling experience is mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing especially with regards to presentation and interpretation of financial information (Arabic is a must)
