We’re working with a leading Biotechnology company who are actively recruiting a GMP Production Chemist to be based in Bristol, UK.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manufacture products in accordance with GMP requirements and approved production procedures.
- Prepare, operate and maintain production equipment used during manufacturing activities.
- Complete batch records, logbooks and other manufacturing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all production activities comply with relevant GMP, health and safety and quality requirements.
- Support the investigation of deviations, non-conformances and production-related issues.
- Assist with process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Perform equipment cleaning, preparation and routine checks in line with approved procedures.
- Support the transfer, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing processes where required.
- Work closely with Quality, QC and other internal teams to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
To be successful, you will need to meet the following:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or another relevant scientific discipline.
- Previous experience working within GMP manufacturing, ideally within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or another regulated life sciences environment.
- Good understanding of GMP requirements and controlled manufacturing processes.
- Experience completing batch records and GMP documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow approved procedures accurately.
- Currently living in Bristol.
